What started as a neighborhood eatery in 1926 under the tutelage of Beatrice Ruggeri, better known as ‘BICE (bee-chay) by those who loved her, became the chain of restaurants known as BICE. After a long day of shopping or beach going in and around Coconut Point, bring the family to the Early Bird ($19) from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and ($24) from 6 p.m. to closing. Appetizer, main course and dessert included. Entreees are penne, fried chicken milanese, pollo piccata and scaloppine. Happy Hour is awesome with beef carpaccio, coconut shrimp, eggplant parmesan, blue cheese, candied nuts, arugla and pear flatbread, chicken tenders with a variety of sauces and more. The decor takes you on a mini excursion to Italy serving up Northern Italian fair. Top pics are homemade pasta, Veal Ossobuco, Veal Chop Milanese and Tiramisu. Lunch is also served.
