Every Primanti Bros. sandwich starts with your choice of grilled meat, melted cheese, an oil & vinegar-based coleslaw, tomato slices, and French fries between two thick slices of Italian bread. Talk about BIG.

History has it that the Primanti Bros. opened up in the Strip District of Pittsburgh to serve truckers everyday. The family ran the company until 1970. Keeping the name, the restaurant has grown to order wings, pizza, fries and other good stuff.

Being from Pittsburgh, Jeff knew I couldn’t eat a whole sandwich so we shared one. His favorite – Capicola & Cheese for $7.39. I gave him the big half. Who knew French fries on a sandwich could be so good?

You can also order Pastrami & Cheese, Bacon & Cheese, Ham & Cheese and many more.  You can also add an egg or bacon for a upcharge. Add a bottle of hot sauce and a beer and you are good to go.

Located throughout the Pittsburgh area; North, South, East and West. If you should happen to land at Pittsburgh and you need a fix, stop at Moon Township and grab yourself a sandwich. Also located in West Virginia and three locations of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. You can also get a sandwich at the baseball or football game. Let us hear from you about your experience.
