When you crave breakfast, lunch or dinner this is the place you want to be. For good down to earth cooking in a eclectic atmosphere then Crave is the place, just off McGregor and the Cape Coral Bridge in Ft. Myer’s. Starting with breakfast you can order up shrimp and grits, eggs benedict, organic Irish salmon with eggs, filet mignon and eggs, plus the regular breakfast fare. A great place to meet up for a business lunch, grab and open faced filet sandwich with tomato onion garlic toast; a monte cristo with ham, turkey, cheddar, swiss with raspberry jam. All the soups are homemade. Read the chalkboard for specials. At dinner, order crab drip for starters spicy and chocked full of crab or warm goat cheese and toast points. For the main event, we like the shepherd’s pie, meatloaf, shrimp and grits, filet, pan fried chicken breast, veggie wellington. Or on the lighter side, try a artfully prepared salad, sandwich or a vegetarian platter with your choices. Desserts are warm and homemade to order. Beer and wine available. Bottles are reasonably priced. Dave, our server, recommended an excellent Merlot from Washington. Catering. Located at The Bridge Plaza, 12901 McGregor Blvd., Open 7 days a week. Monday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Tuesday – Saturday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. crave
