Whether on vacation or on a date, Columbia Restaurant is the place to be. Since 1905, the restaurant has been serving up Cuban favorites. Now seven restaurants strong, the family ownership remains. Try the red and white sangria made tableside by your server. It is a wonderful blend of red wine, simple syrup, fresh fruit and brandy. To go with your cold Sangria chose a tapa from the large menu. Favorites include: Shrimp and Crabmeat Alcahofas (shrimp, crabmeat and artichoke baked in a casserole with Romano cheese). Another recommendation by waiters is Champinones Rellenos (baked mushrooms filled with spinach, artichoke hearts, garlic and cheese). Don’t forget to nibble on fried plantains along with your tapas and homemade Cuban bread and butter. In addition to a full tapa menu, there a dinner entrees with carne, pollo, paella, pasta and combination dinners. Save room for dessert, you be sure to find something to tempt your tastebuds. Columbia Restaurant is a must do.columbia restaurant
