Located just over the Cape Coral Bridge as you head into Ft. Myers on McGregor Blvd. is a cute spot called Cibo (Chee-bo). Personalized service, where the server and bartenders remember your name. Great food – cooked to order. Excellent wine list, beer and a full bar. Cozy seating. Reservations are a must. Cibo serves dinner only Monday – Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Happy hour is 4 p.m. to close.
Start with a hot meatball smothered in homemade sauce. Or, enjoy a Salumi Condimenti with prosciutto, genoa salami, imported soppresatta, aged provolone, parmesan crisps, roasted red peppers, olives, marinated artichokes. Other starters include: ricotta gnocchi, clams in a white wine sauce, risotto with spinach, prosciutto and scallops. There are six different salads. Cracker crust pizza is served in the bar only. You can get it any way you want it.
Plated pasta includes everything from ravioli to seafood dishes and parmigiana. Under carne you can order marsala either chicken or veal, alla piccata with chicken or veal, veal carbonara. Under Carne Alla Griglia there is an 8 oz filet, 16 oz. New York Strip and a 14 oz bone in veal chop. In seafood there is salmon, lobster, shrimp with prices going to $54.
For dessert, if you are still hungry or stopping by after a movie – try the tiramisu, creme rule, gelato, cheesecake and volcano cake.
They also have a full express bar, ports, grappas, cognacs.
