We arrived in Rome via Paris on Air France. Our penthouse flat was close to the Trevi Fountain so after unpacking and a quick walk around we decided to find a dinner spot. Pizza in Trevi was a pleasant surprise since it was located in a touristy area.
Above is the Gnocchi al pesto – pasta of potatoes with garlic and basil. Every bite was coated with the luxurious pesto sauce.
Pizza Primavera
The pizza, cheese, and basil on this Pizza Primavera were amazing. We saw this pizza coming out from the kitchen and that is how we ordered, “we will have what they are having.” They offer a gluten-free pizza made with sourdough and they use organic brown rice flour and buckwheat. You can order pizza by the slice at the front counter.
The restaurant has two large rooms with air conditioning. Trevi Pizza has been serving locals and tourists since 1955.
Hours are 10 a.m. to Midnight.
