While on Captiva, take a trip back in time with its star studied, dressed up lunch menu like “The Louie Armstrong” a muffaletta stacked with salami, cheese and special sauce; “The Turk Douglas” a turkey sandwich dressed with cheese and homemade guava jam. On the dinner menu, as an appetizer try the “Three Little Rascals”, four shrimp in garlic butter sauce and homemade French Bread. Entrees include: “Maryland Mignon”, a filet with mushrooms; another favorite is “The Charlie Chaplin Chops” served with an apple-mojo sauce. It is an experience for the eyes and the stomach. Kids of all ages will love the animated Christmas room and decorations, antique memorabilia and film pictures. There are three floors and five separate dining rooms. You servers are Bubble Scouts and are decked out in funky hats, clothes, buttons and whatever else they can attach to their uniform. And, make room for dessert. The slices of cake are mile high and melt in your mouth. http://www.bubbleroomrestaurant.com
