Romance, piano music, excellent wine list and a relaxing evening all await you at Angelina’s. This is a destination restaurant with an Italian flare, just south of Coconut Point on Tamiami Trail, Bonita Springs.
Under pizzette there are four selections from Marghertia to Meatball & Mushroom, and Fra Diavolo.
In the appetizers, try the Antipasto Miso, Eggplant Rollatini, Fried Calamari & Grouper, Beef Carpaccio, Stuffed Zucchini Blossoms, Mussels and Meatballs.
The small pasta course offer raviolis butternut squash — all handmade and topped with sauce of orange, sun-dried tomato and butter, truffle oil, arugula and candied pecans. Small serving is $15 or large for $28. Other pastas include Cacio e Peppe, Pappardelle ‘Capri’, Spicy Lobster Rigatoni all Vodka and Veal Bolognese.
The main event features Sea Salt Baked Snapper for Two for $90; Black Grouper Picatta, Grilled Banzino Puttanesca, Fra Diavolo Risotto, Veal Milanese, Filet of Wagyu Beef, Free Range Chicken, Veal Marsala and Pork Osso Buco.
For $99 two people from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. under Prezzo Fisso can enjoy $25 towards any bottle from their massive wine selection plus three courses. First course includes Meatballs or Mussels to share for the table or one soup or salad each: Caesar and Cream of Mushroom Soup. Entree selections include: Free Range Chicken, Veal Bolognese, Fra Diavolo Risotto, Pork Osso Buco. For Dolce shared try to Signature Zeppoli for Two – fried dough, tossed in cinnamon-sugar and served with chocolate or berry sauce. Your other choice is Gelato or Sorbetto.
Hours Monday – Thursday from 4:00 to 9 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Happy hour in the lounge from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. Wine Lover’s Wednesday. Triple Point Tuesday. Monthly wine dinner. Entertainment is every evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Executive Chef Ryan Fredstrom. Reservations are not required. Dress code is business casual, no shorts, denim or open-toed shoes for men.
