One block off busy Cape Coral Parkway sits a wine and deck bar that is worth your while. The name of the restaurant is a take off from Saturday Night Live. Cork Soakers is a happening hot spot that compliments other new restaurants in the area.
The menu is one-of-a-kind with a mix and variety of flavors and ingredients. Menu highlights include eggs diablo. The deviled eggs change often. The wine risotto is ultra creamy and laced with cheese. This dish changes often, also. During the holiday season, enjoy butternut squash risotto or truffle mushrooms with pancetta. A take on the grilled cheese is bacon and brie and melts in your mouth, try it with a fried egg. Every night there are specials including a dinner item. Prices range from $5 to $15.
Live music, outdoor bar and seating on the deck. Or, for chilly nights they have heated gas lamps. All servers have extensive food knowledge. Ladies Night on Thursday. Cork Soakers is located at 837 47th Terr. in downtown Cape Coral.
