With everything served tapas style, diners can have a nice selection off the menu at Momos. This quaint Greek restaurant located in University City, (St. Louis) pays great attention to flavors, sauces and detail of each entree.
Open for lunch and dinner. For starters at dinner, there is spreads made with chickpeas and virgin olive oil and fava; htipiti a blend of roasted pepper, feta, capers and olive oil; humus, and more. There are two soups, a chicken based and roasted eggplant. Add chicken, gyro meat and tuna to any salad and there are many to chose from. Elleniki, a classic greek salad, greek caesar, horiatiki, spinach, tomato and feta, steak kabob and traditional gyro salad with romaine, gyro meat with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, olives and feta tossed with a light lemon-oregano vinaigrette. Next, there are gyros, shish kabobs and pasta.
Small plates are divided by cold and hot temperatures. Under cold there is artichoke hearts, rare tuna, greek cheese, garlic roasted beets, smoked salmon.
Under hot there is spanikopita, layered pita, vegetable cake, crab cakes, eggplant fries, grilled flatbread pizza, mussels, garlic shrimp, meatballs, grilled sausage, baked feta, spinach artichoke dip, grilled beef tenderloin, roasted salmon, lemon-oregano roasted potatoes, baked brie with fruits, walnuts, almonds and lavash and more.
