We decided to add a little taste of Paris to our Saturday errands. So we stopped un petit dejeuner au restaurant “Mon Paris” in Ft. Myers. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and homemade baked goods greet you at the door. This quaint spot is a perfect place to unwind and pretend you are on a street corner in France.
Jeff enjoyed what they call a ham and cheese omelet that is served inside of a freshly baked croissant, baguette or ciabatta. I had a warm ham and cheese Quiche with a side salad.
Also on the menu are toasted croissants with Nutella, ham and melted brie, butter, ham, and swiss; french toast or a gooey croque monsieur with ham or turkey.
Lunchtime favorites in the cold variety include chicken salad; ham, turkey and brie or swiss; tomato and mozzarella and on the hot side there is turkey, goat cheese and tomato, prosciutto, mozzarella, and fresh tomato.
Crepes are both savory and sweet. The Mon Paris salad is a customer favorite. Goat cheese, caramelized peach, dry cranberries, pecans, red onions served on top of organic greens and drizzled with a french vinaigrette.
Enjoy your tea or un cafe aulait hot or iced.
The Cafe Mon Paris is closed Sunday and Monday.
Hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Located at 13550 Reflections Parkway.
