Even though I call Florida home, I still crave the fresh fish, atmosphere, and excellent service from the Bristol. So when I visit St. Louis or Kansas City, the Bristol is definitely on the itinerary.

My son and I both ordered the Mesquite Grilled Barramundi. You can choose the preparation and two seasonal sides.  The fish was perfectly cooked with a wonderful smokey flavor. I loved the homemade creamy mashed potatoes and crunchy carrots. $23.

Look at the serving of Trout from Idaho. $17.

They also serve Power Lunch Combos for $14 such as Tempura Shrimp Sushi Rolls, Spicy Tuna Roll, 1/2 Lump Crab Melt, 1/2 Turkey Club and Shrimp Tacos served with a bowl of soup or starter salad.

On the lighter side try the Soup & Salad Combo; Appetizers; or a  sandwich. For non-fish lovers, they have a Black Angus Burger, Turkey Club, and Grilled Chicken Salad.

Dinner is basically the same as lunch with a few extras. You can start with Fresh Oysters – usually Blue Pointe from Long Island, NY.

Other dinner favorites include Surf & Turf; 12-oz. USDA Prime Kansas City Strip, USDA Prime 18-oz. Bone in Cowboy Ribeye or Center Cut Filet; Crab & Lobster; Alaskan King Crab Legs.

Patio and Bar specials start at 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; Saturday 4:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.; Sunday 4:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. and 9 p.m. to close.

Happy Hour fills up fast so get there early. There are $7 appetizers which are enough for dinner and range from a Sushi Roll to a New England Lobster Roll and Mini Burger Sliders.

There are daily drink specials an excellent wine list and handcrafted cocktails. Sunday Brunch gets rave reviews. Wine Specials on Sunday include – 1/2 Bottles of Wine up to $100 and 25% off Bottles of Wine $100 and over. Live entertainment in the bar area.

The service is always exceptional at the Bristol.
