The owners of Nevermind and Nice Guys in Cape Coral, Fla. put their culinary talents together to come up with a win, win. Shannon Yates, Jovana Batkovic and Greg Gebhard have created a new eatery called Danger, Danger. Look for the yellow sign just off  47th Terrace in downtown Cape Coral.

It might be tiny but the flavors are out of bounds. There are fried beets, black bean hummus and pig ears for starters. The tacos are street-like with a variety of toppings from the Spuds Mackenzie with chorizo, potato, and salsa verde to the Bubba stuffed with shrimp and bacon jam and the Spanglish (flank steak, poblano, pickled mustard seed, potato stix, romesco, pepper jack, and queso fresco) Three per order and start at $9.

Under Mean & Green, there is a flavorful Falafel Burger – crispy chickpea concoction packed with herbs, pickled onions and topped with arugula, yum yum sauce and your choice of a side. The Underground Salad has everything and more from fennel root to pickled golden raisins.

Pizza Pies run from $12 to $17. The Sundried Tomato Pesto was large enough to share if combined with something else (see below). Other recommendations include the Oink, Oink, My Good Man, Pad Thai, Yum Yum, and Brazilian Love Affair.

Everything is available for take-out especially the 4-piece, 8-piece and 16-piece buckets of Free-Range Fried Chicken. Choose the chicken your way from buttermilk, southern and Cape Coral. There are like 30 sauces for your chicken.

Just when you think you are stuffed you have to order the piping hot donuts with melted Nutella.

Hours are 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Closed Sunday.
