Flourless Chocolate Cake


  • 1 Cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 Cup Melted Butter
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Tsp. Vanilla
  • 3 Eggs, beaten slightly
  • 1/2 Cup Cocoa Powder

For the ganache:

  • 1 Cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Grease and flour 8" round cake pan. Place a piece of parchment to fit the bottom of the pan and spray with non-stick spray.

  3. To make the cake, put the chocolate and butter in microwave for one minute. Stir until smooth.

  4. Add Sugar, Vanilla then add eggs and cocoa powder. Blend until smooth.

  5. Pour into prepared pan and bake 25 minutes.

  6. Let cake cool.

  7. In the meantime: make the ganache. Combine chocolate and cream, place into microwave for about 30 seconds. Stir until well blended.

  8. Spread over cake.
