Ingredients

  • Brisket, 3 to 4 pounds
  • 1 Cup Catsup
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar, packed
  • 1/4 Cup Cider Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
  • 1 Clove Garlic, crushed

Instructions

  1. Place brisket in 13 x 9 inch baking dish.

  2. In a bowl, mix remaining ingredients. Pour mixture over meat.

  3. Cover with foil, shiny side out.

  4. Bake 275 degrees for 6 hours.

  5. Remove from oven. Let stand for 30 minutes.

  6. Slice across the grain.

  7. Serve warm or use for sandwiches.

This brisket recipe is always a crowd-pleaser. Can make a day ahead.

I also boil the sauce down once I remove the meat from the pan.
