Seafood Vol-Au-Vent
Chef Christian and his wife Mari Vivet welcome you personally when you arrive for dinner at Bleu Rendezvous on Sanibel Island. The couple opened in May 2015. Bleu is perfect for any night of the week or special occasion. We love the French tablecloths and the service is excellent.

The menu is classically French. Starters include French Onion Soup, Lobster Bisque with a shooter of sherry and nightly appetizer specials. Every dinner is served with a small salad dressed with a traditional french vinaigrette and two sides. Favorite entrees are Filet and Frites with Béarnaise, New Zealand Lamb Chops, Duck a l’Orange, Boeuf Bourguignon, Seafood Vol-Au-Vent (puff pastry filled with lobster tail, grouper cheek, scallop in a sherry-ed lobster cream sauce – pictured above), and Veal Sweetbread. Save room for dessert because they have the best Creme Brûlée, French Silk Pie and Rustic Apple Galette.

They offer an Early Bird and Prix Fixe menu. Bleu Rendezvous is located at 2430 Periwinkle Way, 239-565-1608. Dinner starts at 5 p.m. and reservations are required. Dine-in, outside terrace dining and gourmet take-out with nightly specials.
