If you are looking for a first date spot, a nightcap or just an escape from everyday life check out Jordan’s Wine Bar and Cellar in Ft. Myers. The minute you step inside you are transformed into another country – Cuba. The owners Gloria and Brian Jordan opened on March 9, 2023.

A favorite of ours is the melon and prosciutto (pictured below).

The chef drizzles the sweet and savory combo with balsamic glaze. Also try the Roasted Almonds, White Anchovies, Bruschetta with Smoked Salmon, and Manchego Cheese Membrillo. Other menu items include the Media Noche, a signature Cuban concoction of deliciousness.

On the Tapas menu try the Tuna Carpaccio, Pan Con Tomate, Beef Empanadas with Guave Chimichurri, Pate Brulee, and Ocotupus Carpaccio with green olives, lemon-infused olive oil. Prices range from $6 to $20.

They also serve a mean Cuban Coffee, Marshmallow Brulee Coffee with Expresso, Sherry, Cream, and toast marshmallows. Desserts are made fresh every day and vary from pastries to creamy inventions. See the pictures below.

The walls are painted a deep green, the artwork is eclectic and you are surrounded by vintage decor, and cigar boxes. It’s a very relaxed vibe, a musician plays Latin jazz in the corner. All items are served in mix-matched china and crystal.

There are more than 100 different wine varieties from small productions to lesser-known wines. She offers wine tastings every month. Gloria is a chef who says she serves everything that she personally loves to eat.

The Jordans are the former owners of La Trattoria Cafe Napoli in Ft. Myers.

Closed Sunday and Monday. Hours are 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday 4 p.m. to 12 am.
