Sometimes a picture says it all. Check out this Lobster Roll (above) chocked full of lobster meat, lemon mayo, and parsley all stuffed into a Fenway park roll. You can have this and much more at Cape Coral’s newest hot spot called High Tide Social House.
It’s located at Tarpon Point Marina in Cape Coral, FL. When you drive into the Westin Cape Coral go around the condos to the back.
Every attention to detail has been taken at High Tide from the dark wood planks on the ceilings to the blue and white cottage vibe to the pineapple light fixture outside. Inside the chandeliers are sparkly and eye catching. Even the glassware is perfect.
Dining is inside/outdside with large fans and a nice natural breeze. Open for lunch and dinner.
For starters try the Hummus of the Week served with crudités and pita, the Tipsy Sailor (prime filet tips, chimichurri, red wine demi and toasted baguette), or Baked Goat Cheese with roasted tomatoes, walnuts, honey, oregano and toasted baguette.
From the Rose Garden there are five different salads, add protein for an up charge.
The sandwich list is long and all delicious. There’s Pulled Pork, Cubano, Reuben, Hot Italian, Grilled Grouper, Prime Rib, Gyro and more.
We heard the hamburgers are made with prime angus filet mignon served on a brioche bun. My friend said its the best burger he ever ate.
Turn the menu over because you may want to try one of their wood-fired pizzas for an appetizer or dinner or shareable. There are over a dozen selections and come in 12″ and 16″. There’s the Lobster, Figs in Paradise, We Went Out Last Night, Hawaiian Hottie and Let’s Taco ‘Bout It. Or, you can build your own pizza by choosing the veggies, cheese and proteins.
They also have a small portion of dinner entrees but they shouldn’t go unnoticed – the Prime Filet Mignon, 6 oz or 8 oz with chimichurri butter melts in your mouth. You barely need a knife to cut it, served with two sides. They also have Grouper Trooper, seared with fresh mandarins, roasted tomatoes, capers in a lemon butter sauce; and more.
Ps..my favorite drink is the Margarita made with grapefruit juice, Fresca and tequila.
