The Cacciatore Brothers have opened a new concept in Fort Myers, near Barbara B. Mann theatre called Mastello. The restaurant serves Prime, American Wagyu, Fine-Aged meats and Seafood along with an interesting Italian pasta selection. There is a very nice wine list, craft cocktails and 4 different Old Fashioned’s.

Modern decor greets guests with a black and tan decor. The dining room is split in two with a full bar/lounge area on the back wall.

The menu starts with oysters, shrimp cocktail, beef carpaccio and goes all the up to a Grande Cold Seafood Platter for $120. There are three salads and more appetizers like burrata with prosciutto di parma, heirloom tomatoes and aged balsamic; calamari; and charcuterie board.

Under pastas they have Gnocchi alla Vodka to Braised Short Rib Ravioli. There is a nice selection seafood, chicken, lamb and veal. But, the headliners are the steaks from Prime, Wagyu and Aged Meat.

You can have an 8 oz Filet Mignon or enjoy an 20-oz. Chateaubriand Tenderloin for $126. The steaks were grilled to perfection, the first time (if you know what I mean). The flavor of the aged-meat is unbelievable.

Each steaks comes with one side from fries to steamed asparagus to creamed spinach.

Save room for dessert because the Vulcano Cioccolato & Vanilla Gelato is so yummy.

Take out available, kids menu, excellent service, Gluten-free options. Hours are Monday through Saturday 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., 7890 Summerlin Lakes Dr., Fort Myers, FL.
